1. Vampire's Share
This tequila twist on a Negroni packs a fierce punch but is absolutely delicious.
With Aperol for a balance of zesty citrus oils and mild bitterness and mezcal for a touch of smokiness - this serve is the perfect aperitif for a Halloween dinner party.
Ingredients
- 30ml tequila
- 20ml Aperol
- 10ml Campari
- 30ml sweet vermouth
- 5ml mezcal (optional)
- Lychee eyeball, to garnish
Method
Add all the ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and stir to combine and chill down. Strain into a coupe and garnish with two lychee eyeballs, which you can learn how to make here!
2. Black Cat Martini
We love this blue Curacao Halloween cocktail recipe!
We don’t know if seeing a black cat on Halloween is lucky or unlucky, but whoever gets served one of these wickedly black Martinis on October 31st will be counting themselves very lucky indeed!
Ingredients
- 50ml gin
- 25ml blue curaçao
- 15ml Chambord (or similar dark purple berry liqueur)
- Squeeze of lemon
Method
Fill a cocktail shaker or mixing glass full of ice, then add all your other ingredients and shake (or stir gently for a minute if using a mixing glass). Strain into a chilled Martini glass and serve.
How-To: Black Sugar Rim
To make a black sugar rim for your glasses, mix sugar with a drop of vanilla essence and a few drops of black food colouring, then dip the rim of the glasses into water before pressing into the black sugar to coat.
3. Hocus Pocus G&T
Okay, it’s technically a G&T - but with its witchy, colour-changing effect it’ll no doubt wow your Halloween party guests so we had to include it.
Infuse your gin with Butterfly Pea Flower to create a colour-changing spirit that magically transforms from blue to purple!
Ingredients
- 50ml butterfly pea-infused gin
- 200ml tonic water
- Fresh rosemary sprig, to garnish
Method
Add your gin to a coupe or copa glass and top up with tonic. Garnish and serve.
How-To: Butterfly Pea Gin
Pour 200ml of gin into a clean container and add 1 tbsp butterfly pea flower. Give it a quick stir and it's ready to use!

Ingredients
- 45ml gin
- 15ml Midori melon liqueur
- 30ml lime cordial
- 4 basil leave
Method
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake thoroughly. Strain into a chilled coupe.
5. Blackberry Gin Punch
Looking for a Halloween cocktail for a crowd? Try this vibrant red punch recipe! Devilishly dark and dangerously delicious, this recipe will make four fantastic helpings for any uncanny callers...
Ingredients
- Juice of 2 limes or lemons
- 60ml blackberry syrup
- 180ml gin
- 400ml tonic water, lemonade or soda water
Method
To make your punch, fill a pitcher or punch bowl with lots of ice and then pour in all the ingredients. Stir with a long spoon gently for a minute, until the mixture is really chilled.
How-To: Blackberry Syrup
Simmer 200g caster sugar with 200ml water and a punnet of blackberries, stirring gently to break down the fruit. After 5-10 minutes you should have a sticky, dark red syrup. Strain into a clean jar and leave to cool in the fridge before using.
6. Satan’s Whiskers
It may sound devilish, but this sweet gin and orange cocktail tastes absolutely heavenly!
Ingredients
- 30ml gin
- 15ml Cointreau or other orange liqueur
- 15ml sweet vermouth
- 15ml dry vermouth
- 15ml blood orange juice
- 2 dashes orange bitters
Method
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake thoroughly. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice and garnish with a blood orange wheel and mint.

- 25ml gin
- 50ml Baileys Irish Cream

- 25ml gin
- 25ml ginger liqueur
- 25ml Lillet Blanc
- 25m lemon juice
- 1 star anise
Method
Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake well, then simply strain into a chilled coupe or goblet glass.

It wouldn’t be Halloween without a Zombie cocktail!
This boozy classic cocktail that boasts two different types of rum will add a dash of tropical cheer and a heap of sunny flavours to your spooky gatherings.
Ingredients
- 25ml dark rum
- 25ml white rum
- 25ml lime juice
- 25ml grapefruit juice
- 150ml pineapple juice
- 15ml grenadine
- 2 dashes of Angostura bitters

Method
Add all the ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Fill a tiki or skull glass with crushed ice and strain in your cocktail. Garnish with mint and lime to serve.
11. Pumpkin Alexander
Enjoy an even more indulgent twist on a Brandy Alexander that uses mouthwatering Mozart Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Cream Liqueur instead of creme de cacao.
A Brandy Alexander is normally served in a coupe, but we've adapted the recipe to be served in a highball for an even longer, more luxurious serve.
Ingredients
- 35ml cognac
- 45ml Mozart Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Cream Liqueur
- 45ml half and half double cream and milk
- 1 pinch turmeric powder
Method
Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake well. Strain into a hurricane or highball glass filled with ice and serve.
12. Bloody Mary
Despite now being a popular brunch beverage and hangover cure, let's not forget about the frightening fable that shares its name with this scarlet serve.
Packed with spice and savoury flavours, this cocktail is the perfect way to kick off a Halloween dinner party. Just take care to avoid mirrors!
Ingredients
- 50ml vodka
- 100ml tomato Juice
- Hot sauce, to taste
- Worcestershire sauce, to taste
- A generous grind each of salt and pepper
- Celery stalk and lemon slices, to garnish
Method
Fill a tall glass with ice and combine your gin and tomato juice. Drop in hot sauce and Worchester Sauce to taste, then grind in salt and pepper. Stir with a celery stalk, squeeze in the juice of a lemon wedge (if desired) and serve.
13. Ursula
An ode to the notorious fictional sea witch, this mesmerizing cocktail is truly one to impress your guests.
With citrussy apple and lime, sweet honey and herbal gin, this tipple tastes as magical as it looks!
Ingredients
- 3 fresh blackberries
- 1 tsp honey
- 60ml apple juice
- 25ml lime juice
- Soda water, to top up
- 25ml butterfly pea gin
- Fresh thyme, to garnish
Method
Add the fresh blackberries and honey to a rocks glass or small tumbler and muddle for 10-15 seconds. Add crushed ice, then pour in the apple juice and lime juice. Add enough soda water to nearly fill the glass, then pour in the butterfly pea gin. Garnish and enjoy!
