Cocktail of the Week: Maple Syrup Gin Old Fashioned

Craft Gin Club Members have been enjoying their first tastes of their April Gin of the Month this week, and there are so many delicious ways to enjoy Tarquin's Limited Edition Rosemary & Thyme Gin.
One cocktail that's already proved a hit is this gorgeous take on a traditional whiskey Old Fashioned. Club Members Lisa Batty and Roisin Doyle got stuck straight in and can confirm how yummy it is! The perfect thing to ease your way towards the weekend.... cheers!
50ml Tarquin's Rosemary & Thyme Gin
4 dashes Angostura Bitters
10ml Maple Syrup
2 pieces orange peel zest
Method:
In a mixing glass, combine the gin, bitters, maple syrup and one of the orange zests.
Add 4 blocks of ice and stir gently to dilute taste.
Strain into an Old Fashioned glass filled with ice. Discard the muddled orange peel. Squeeze over oils from the remaining orange peel, then twist and use as the garnish.
