Cider, gin and lavender come together with honey in this yummy cocktail recipe!

If you love cider and gin then you are going to adore this lavender and honey-kissed Lavender Lady cocktail recipe, inspired by the rolling, herb-strewn landscape of Provence, France.

Created for Craft Gin Club’s Summer Dreaming Cocktail Masterclass event, each sip is a sojourn in that medieval land of romance and intrigue…

It all starts with the gin (we are Craft Gin Club, after all), and our craft gin of choice for this recipe is Altitude Gin, which is a classic London Dry inspired by the dramatic French Alps. Here, it lends its crisp, juniper-rich palate to the sumptuous medley of sweet, fruity and herbaceous tones in this cocktail.

Those deep, complex juniper tones are a delightful match for the Galipette French Cider in this recipe, which is itself a symphony of fragrant apple flavours.

The lavender comes through to imbue every sip with a glorious summer perfume that the Tiptree honey then rounds out magnificently with its mellow yet inviting glow.

Finished with fruit and thyme, used as garnishes, this cocktail is a treat for the senses.
