WIN a two-night stay in Amsterdam worth over £1500 with Gin 1689 and Craft Gin Club!
Yes, you read that title correctly. Craft Gin Club and Amsterdam-based distillery Gin 1689 have teamed up to celebrate the Dutch holiday of King’s Day (April 27th, Dutch King Willem-Alexander’s birthday!) by offering gin fans the chance to win a gin-credible trip to Amsterdam worth over £1500.
All you need to do is buy a bottle of Gin 1689 or Gin 1689 The Queen Mary Edition from the Craft Gin Club online shop for a chance to win this spectacular prize - it could not be easier or more delicious. Enter fast though, there are only 200 places available in the prize draw and it’s first come, first serve. Don’t miss your chance to win!
Craft Gin Club members will remember the gorgeous royal blue and gold of Gin 1689 from their October 2019 Gin of the Month box - that beautiful bottle, and the mouthwatering liquid inside, are not easily forgotten. It’s a truly remarkable gin, steeped in history!
For those who don’t know, one of the earliest forms of gin, jenever, was invented in Holland, the home of Gin 1689’s founder, Alexander Janssens, and was introduced to the UK when the Dutch king, William of Orange, began to rule England in 1689.
Alexander drew on that rich history to develop his gin, reviving a centuries-old recipe he discovered for one of the first “modern” gins in the archives of the Distillers Guild in London.
The result is a craft gin brimming with a divine mix of spice and warm citrus tones that no gin fan will want to miss.
The pink Queen Mary Edition gin then takes things a step further with the addition of strawberries and raspberries. Yum!
What’s included in this huge prize?
As well as an exclusive meet-and-greet with Alexander Janssens, Gin 1689’s founder, where you will be able to sip cocktails and hear all about the story behind Gin 1869, this amazing prize includes a two-night stay for two at the Hilton Double Tree at Amsterdam Central (breakfast included, of course!) and return flights to get you and your gin pal there and bring you back.
During your stay, you’ll be able to explore everything that Amsterdam has to offer, from its historic architecture and iconic canals, which seem as though they’re taken straight from a fairytale, to its world-renowned museums (the Rijksmuseum and Van Gough Museums are must-sees!) and its famous nightlife.
Gin fans and cocktail connoisseurs alike will want to check out the likes of Door 74 (an amazing speakeasy!) and Mossel & Gin (a gin-credible seafood restaurant), to name a few.
Truly, this is an opportunity like no other. So don’t miss your chance to enter!
