Craft Gin Club's August 2024 Rum of the Month: Las Olas Premium Spiced Rum
This delicious spiced spirit is brimming with notes of lime, orange, golden cherry and cacao, and comes from the London-based brand that’s at the crest of the new wave of rum.
Samuel Williams, founder of Las Olas, has employed his entrepreneurial talent to fill the gap in the British spiced rum market with this premium offering, and we can’t wait for Clubbers to try it!

In their August 2024 Rum of the Month box, Clubbers have received everything they need to create the Perfect Serve – an expertly curated recipe to enhance the delicious flavours of our August 2024 Rum of the Month.
The luxurious flavour and mouthfeel of Las Olas Premium Spiced Rum meets with the warm, zingy notes of Heartsease Farm Fiery Ginger Beer to create a super-smooth, full-flavoured serve. Enhanced with further citrus notes from the dried lime garnish, this month’s Perfect Serve isn’t one to be missed – find the recipe below!
August 2024 Perfect Serve Recipe
Ingredients
- 50ml Las Olas Premium Spiced Rum
- 200ml Heartsease Farm Fiery Ginger Beer
- Dried lime, to garnish
Method
Fill a rocks glass with ice and pour in the rum. Top up with ginger beer, then garnish, stir gently and serve.
Craft Gin Club's August 2024 Cocktail of the Month: Summer Swizzle
On top of the delicious Perfect Serve, Clubbers have received the ingredients for our August 2024 Cocktail of the Month – Craft Gin Club’s Summer Swizzle.
Our Master Mixologist, Maria Vieira, has been hard at work creating the perfect recipe for a delicious summer cocktail. This fruity, refreshing serve contains plenty of citrus oils from our custom-made cocktail syrup and a well-balanced mix of sweet and tart fruit notes from the mixer. Las Olas Premium Spiced Rum adds spice and body to the serve, making for a vibrant sip that tastes as colourful as it looks!
August 2024 Summer Swizzle Recipe
Ingredients
- 50ml Las Olas Premium Spiced Rum
- 25ml Summer Swizzle Cocktail Syrup
- 100ml Heartsease Farm Sparkling Apple & Rhubarb
- Fresh lemon slice and mint leaves, to garnish
Method
Fill a highball glass with ice and pour in the rum, cocktail syrup and mixer. Stir gently to combine, then garnish and serve.
