Craft Gin Club's February 2026 Gin of the Month: Egiazki Gin Arana
Meet our February 2026 Gin of the Month - Egiazki Gin Arana. Founded by twin brothers Benjamin and Camille Fourt Arteaga, Egiazki is a trailblazing distillery nestled among the sweeping hills of the Pyrenees Mountains in the French Basque Country.
Benjamin and Camille started Egiazki to bring Basque tradition back to the drinks world, offering modern spirits that capture the rich, time-honoured practices and flavours of the region. Since its inception in 2014, Egiazki has cultivated a corner of the industry for quintessentially Basque spirits - and has paved the way for other distilleries to champion their heritage, too.
Gin Arana is inspired by the traditional flavours of the French Basque Country - combining sweet sloe berries with vibrant juniper for a spirit that's both refreshingly fruity and bold and herbaceous.
We can’t think of a better brand to introduce members to the wonderful spirits of the Basque Country than Egiazki. This distillery has become a cornerstone of the drinks world in the Northern Basque Country through their innovative expressions of traditional flavours – we think this will be a new favourite for many!

Marlish English Tonic
Coming from a fantastic family-run business nestled in the Northumbrian hills, this tonic water is made with lemon and rose extracts which, when combined with the subtle bitterness of quinine, creates a delicately sweet and floral mixer. Marlish has gone from strength to strength crafting delicious mixers and sparkling waters and, with this stunning tonic, they've really hit the mark.

Ingredients
- 50ml Gin Arana
- 150ml Marlish English Tonic
- Dried apple, to garnish
Method
Fill a glass with ice and add your gin and mixer. Add the garnish, stir gently to infuse and serve.

Ingredients
- 50ml Gin Arana
- 25ml Citrus Collins Cocktail Syrup
- 150ml Marlish Brazilian Orange Sparkling Water
- Orange smile, to garnish
Method
Add the gin, cocktail syrup and mixer to a highball glass filled with ice. Stir to combine, garnish and serve.
