Our June 2025 Gin of the Month has been expertly crafted by Grace O’Malley Spirits – an adventurous distillery based on the wild west coast of Ireland. The distillery takes its name from the 16th century Irish Pirate Queen Granuaile (the gaelic translation of Grace O’Malley), and this gin goes one step further in not only honouring this legendary figure, but also the wealth of beauty, botanicals and culture of the local area.

Premium mixer brand Troughtons is raising the bar in the mixer market and giving you

the perfect partner to your spirits in the process. Its Premium Citrus Tonic blends the crisp, clean quality of County Armagh spring water with lemon, orange and African quinine for a delicately balanced, refreshing flavour.

Combining a love of seasonal produce and natural processes, Cawston Press crafts its range of soft drinks without the need for added sugar, sweeteners or concentrates. Its Sparkling Rhubarb is made with pressed rhubarb, crisp apple juice and sparkling water for a sumptuous, nostalgic sip. 

The CANS range of non-sweet soft drinks is full of high-quality ingredients that won’t give you a sugar spike or slump – just a burst of bubbly flavour. CANS Apple Sparkling Water is made with alpine sparkling spring water, real apple juice and a touch of elderflower for a softly sweet and floral flavour that’s mouthwateringly moreish.

Ingredients

• 50ml Granuaile Gin
• 200ml Troughtons Premium 'Raising Spirits' Citrus Tonic
• Dried lemon, to garnish

Method

Fill a glass with ice and add your gin and mixer. Add the garnish, stir gently to infuse and serve.

Cocktail Kate says, “Granuaile’s hero botanical is heather, which typically presents herbal and earthy flavours with some notes of mint and lavender. We have complemented these flavours with sweet strawberry in the syrup and tart rhubarb in the mixer. The result is the essence of being outdoors in the summertime.”

A delicious blend of fruity flavours, this simple cocktail is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. It has plenty of tart rhubarb flavours, balanced with sweet strawberry and a hint of citrussy lemon, perfect for pairing with our aromatic Gin of the Month

Ingredients

• 50ml Granuaile Gin
• 25ml Summer’s Kiss Cocktail Syrup
• 200ml Cawston Press Rhubarb
• Fresh lime, to garnish

Method

Add all ingredients to a highball glass with ice and give a quick stir to combine. Garnish with fresh lime, serve and enjoy.
