If you are a rum fan, and if you are reading this then we suspect you are, then the first thing to do when you get your bottle of Island Dark Rum (after admiring the stunning glass bottle, that is) is to taste it neat.

On the nose, you should expect to find inviting notes of caramel, coconut and spice, with subtle hints of citrus.
They continue onto the palate where they are joined by brown sugar and cardamon tones, a touch of salinity that really elevates the whole experience.
The finish is long and complex and wonderfully moreish.
The experts at Craft Gin Club tried this rum with a number of different mixers to find the perfect simple serving suggestion for Clubbers to try.
They discovered that Lixir Ginger Ale, with its delicate bubbles, sweet fragrance, and zesty, authentic hum of ginger was the perfect match for Island Dark Rum's sumptuous flavour profile.
The ginger really accentuates the spice and citrus notes of the rum to a fabulous effect.
Orange slices, which we recommend using to garnish the serve, then round out the whole experience deliciously.
50ml Island Dark Rum
200ml Lixir Ginger Ale
Orange slice, to garnish
Fill up a highball glass with ice and pour in your Island Dark Rum. Top up with Lixir Ginger Ale. Garnish, stir and serve. Enjoy!

This vibrant, minty, citrusy serve combines Island Dark Rum with Craft Gin Club's Mojito Cocktail Syrup and DASH Lime sparkling water.
The cocktail works so well because the fragrant, authentic lime flavours of DASH Lime, and the sweet, smooth, complex tones of the syrup bring out the best in the rum, giving you all the joys of a classic Mojito but with a lot less effort.
50ml Island Dark Rum
25ml Craft Gin Club's Mojito Cocktail Syrup
100ml DASH Lime
Fresh lime and mint, to garnish
Fill up a highball glass with ice and pour in your ingredients. Stir to combine, then garnish and serve.
