While it’s great to have tried-and-tested favourite gin and tonic recipes that we can come back to time and again, here at Craft Gin Club we do love to explore all the delicious flavour combinations out there, complementing each unique Gin of the Month with fabulous mixers and unusual garnishes, and to discover delightfully tasty surprises every time we create a new G&T!
To celebrate Valentine’s Day, this February we’re inviting you to enjoy a pretty pink tonic, an exquisite spirit and a garnish that marries the two beautifully. Talk about a match made in heaven!
The gin for this delicious G&T has been created exclusively for Craft Gin Club members! Distilled at a tiny, family-run micro-distillery on the Gower Peninsula in Wales, GŴYR Rhamanta Gin is a smooth, elegant and classic London Dry Gin that’s bound to capture your heart.
On the palate, the marriage of fruity pomegranate and floral rose takes centre stage, enhanced by a bright burst of citrus. Meanwhile, the Pink Citrus Tonic from Artisan Drinks combines the lively flavours of zingy pink grapefruit and juicy blood orange.
Garnished with a few romantic rosebuds and a wheel of lemon, the subtle floral and bouncy citrus flavours will have your tastebuds dancing this Valentine’s Day!
Here’s how to make it:
50ml GŴYR Rhamanta Gin
200ml The Artisan Drinks Co. Pink Citrus Tonic
Dried rosebuds and lemon slice, to garnish
Add your gin to a Copa glass packed with ice. Top up with tonic, garnish and serve.
