The summer may seem like a distant memory, but, for our members, September 2019 meant the arrival of a brand new bottle of craft gin: the mystical Wessex Alfred the Great Gin! Paired with Peter Spanton Tonic, and accompanied by Binary Botanical, Taylerson’s Blackcurrant Syrup, Godiva Blood Orange Chocolate and Kent Crisps - plus a fantastic garnish of apple slices and dried juniper - Craft Gin Clubbers across the country couldn’t wait to settle down with a Perfect G&T and magical Cocktail of the Month!
We’ve seen #Ginstagram entries fit for royalty this month, which made our job even harder when it came to selecting our favourites!
So, who is taking the crown and being dubbed as September 2019’s #Ginstagram winner?
Not only a stunning bottle of Wessex Alfred the Great Gin, but an equally stunning ginny bake in the form of these Hedgerow Crumble Bars from September’s Ginned! Magazine, saw Victoria win this month’s #Ginstagram prize! A simply delicious photo!
Victoria will be getting her next Gin of the Month box for FREE and, along with our four fabulous runners-up, will take home a three-month subscription to The Cheese Society, worth £111 each!
The Cheese Society is an independent cheese monger run by mother and daughter team Kate and Lucie, along with a passionate team of cheese enthusiasts. The delightful business has been awarded the Cheese Shop of the Year 2018 by the Guild of Fine Food. Each month, their members receive five unique cheeses with tasting notes and pairing advice. Who wouldn’t want the perfect cheeseboard to arrive on their doorstep?
October’s lucky winner and four runners-up will each take home a wickedly delicious Halloween bundle from Whittard of Chelsea! They’ve spent over 130 years sourcing the very best tea, coffee and cocoa, so you’re in for a treat with their Orange Gingerbread Infusion, Chocolate Popcorn Tea, Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate, Sticky Toffee Pudding Hot Chocolate and Pumpkin Spice Coffee, along with a Toffee & Hazelnut Chocolate Spoon, a jar of Mini Marshmallows, two Red Pao Mugs and a Copper Cafetiere for good measure!
