Three delicious strawberry, apple and gin cocktail recipes that never fail to make us smile!

Strawberry, apple and the juniper of gin make for one incredible combination. The sweet, juicy berry flavours of strawberry and the fragrance of the apple are the perfect contrast to the rich, complexity of gin.
It’s a combination that we love to play around with here at Craft Gin Club, so it’s safe to say that we were more than a little excited to include Flawsome! Apple & Strawberry Lightly Sparkling Juice in our February 2022 Gin of the Month box for our members to try.

25ml gin
25ml dry vermouth
Flawsome! Apple & Strawberry Lightly Sparkling Juice, to top
Edible flowers, strawberries or apple slices, to garnish (optional)
Add the gin and the vermouth to a stirring glass or shaker and stir well with lots of ice. Strain into a coupe glass and top up with the sparkling juice. Garnish, serve and enjoy!
50ml gin
25ml Simple Syrup
25ml lemon juice
Flawsome! Apple & Strawberry Lightly Sparkling Juice, to top
Fresh strawberries and lemon, to garnish
Add all of the ingredients to a highball glass with lots of ice and stir. Garnish, serve and enjoy!

Muddle the gin and two fresh strawberries in the bottom of a rocks glass. Add crushed ice and top with Flawsome! Apple & Strawberry Lightly Sparkling Juice. Garnish, serve and enjoy!
We were so impressed by the remarkable flavour of Flawsome! Apple & Strawberry Lightly Sparkling Juice that we went to speak to Karina Sudenyte and Maciek Kacprzyk, the founders of Flawsome!, about their amazing brand. Here’s what they had to say!
Karina: While doing research and visiting a local farm, our eyes were opened to the food waste problem. We soon found out that a third of food grown globally is never eaten, with the main reason being the produce getting rejected. This was mainly for cosmetic reasons, such as produce being the 'wrong' shape or colour – and that’s mainly down to uncontrollable factors like the weather.
Maciek: We both were brought up helping our nans run their orchards and vegetable plots, and learned that appreciating and treasuring what you grew was far more important than the appearance of produce. We still remembered old-school methods of collecting raspberries, strawberries and apples, and cooking or pasteurising them into jams and juices, so we couldn’t get our heads around the fact that fruits and vegetables were being wasted simply because they weren’t uniform in size, shape or colour.
With a passion for sustainability and doing good for people and the planet, plus an anything-can-happen attitude, we began looking for a positive solution to this devastating situation. That’s how we ended up working with local farmers to turn their surplus and wonky fruit into juices.
Karina: Flawsome! is all about positive impact – business as a force for good. We don’t do business in order to be the best in the world, but to be the best for the world.
Maciek: Over the next five years, we are on target to save 20,000 tonnes of wonky and surplus produce, while also donating one million drinks to charitable causes.
Maciek: We’re very excited that this new drink is landing with craft gin lovers!
Every year nearly 1 in 10 strawberries go to waste because of their imperfect appearance, overproduction or supply chain inefficiencies. This drink helps to save wonky strawberries and apples – and it’s also fair to farmers and contains zero added sugar.
Karina: We used real wonky and surplus pressed apples and strawberries, plus sparkling water, to create a vibrant fruity flavour profile.
