Just one look at The London Essence Company’s range of tasty tipples and you can see that they know more than a thing or two about mixing incredible and unique flavours together to create something that’s absolutely gorgeous. Their Bitter Orange & Elderflower Tonic Water, which we sent to our members in their September 2020 Gin of the Month box, is certainly a testament to that. Their tonic waters aren’t the only thing that makes The London Essence Company so special though, they also make delicious ginger ale and ginger beer, and their soda waters are also absolutely fabulous in these three creative and flavoursome cocktail recipes!
The sweet and aromatic flavours of lychee are soft and exotic and delightfully unique. They are the perfect accompaniment to the fragrant wonders of basil and the rich juniper undertones of gin in this fantastic take on the classic Tom Collins cocktail.
40ml gin
10ml lychee syrup from a tin (tins of lychees available online)
15ml lemon juice
100ml London Essence White Peach & Jasmine Soda
Basil leaf, to garnish
Shake the gin, syrup and lemon juice with ice. Pour into a highball glass and top up with the White Peach & Jasmine Soda. Garnish with a basil leaf.
The fruity, summer flavours of elderberry and the floral tones of hibiscus work wonderfully with the refreshing white wine and aromatic gin in this marvellous tipple!
25ml gin
100ml white wine
London Essence Elderberry & Hibiscus Crafted Soda, to top
Twist of orange peel to garnish
Add the gin, wine and soda over ice and stir. Garnish with a twist of orange peel.
Velvety sweet peach and floral jasmine flavours are the perfect match for the deep and aromatic combination of gin, vermouth and Aperol. Together they make a truly delicious cocktail that’s like no other!

15ml red vermouth
15ml Aperol
London Essence White Peach & Jasmine Crafted Soda, to top
Slice of peach, to garnish
Add the ingredients to a highball glass over ice and stir. Garnish with a slice of peach.
