This show-stopping boozy chocolate milkshake takes the classic "hard shake" to new levels of Wonka-esque deliciousness with its mix of Mozart Chocolate Cream Liqueur, rum and pretzels.
With salted caramel ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate brownies added for an extra indulgent treat, this gloriously over-the-top cocktail is not to be missed...
The recipe for this delightfully decadent treat starts with one of our favourite chocolate cream liqueurs: Mozart Chocolate Cream Liqueur.
Made in Salzburg, Austria, this high-quality chocolate liqueur is created using only the finest West African cocoa and Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar. They give the liqueur a truly remarkable flavour profile and wonderfully full-bodied, creamy texture that is simply divine.
We love mixing Mozart Chocolate Cream Liqueur with gin, and you can find a fabulous Hot Cross Bun-flavoured gin cocktail below, but here we are mixing Mozart with rum.
Rum's deep, complex caramel, spice, and vanilla tones are the perfect match for both Craft Gin Club's Caramel Syrup and Mozart's chocolatey flavours - that's why we just had to include Mozart Chocolate Cream Liqueur in our April Rum of the Month box.
Salted caramel ice cream then adds more traditional toffee notes and that all-important touch of salt to balance out the sweetness of the drink.
All of the above complement the biscuity, bready pretzel garnishes to give you a truly special cocktail experience.
We have suggested a range of other garnishes to accompany the pretzels, which we think will satisfy any sweet-toothed cocktail-lover, but feel free to mix these up and add your own favourite sweet snacks. This is a "freakshake" after all, so anything goes!

Chocolate Pretzel Dream
25ml rum
25ml Mozart Cream Chocolate Liqueur
3 tbsp salted caramel ice cream
20ml whole milk
15ml Craft Gin Club Caramel Syrup
Chocolate sauce, to garnish
Chocolate brownie, to garnish
Whipped cream, to garnish
Crumbled caramel cookie, to garnish
Pretzels, to garnish
Rim your glass with melted chocolate (optional). Blend the rum, Mozart Cream Chocolate Liqueur, ice cream, milk and caramel syrup until smooth. Pour into the glass. Add the whipped cream and then the other garnishes. Serve and enjoy!

Hot Cross Bun Martini
30ml gin
50ml Mozart Chocolate Cream Liqueur
30ml Fino sherry
1 egg white, optional
1 pinch cinnamon
1 pinch grated nutmeg
Orange peel
Orange peel cut to lay as a cross on top of the glass. to garnish
Add all the ingredients to a shaker without ice first and give a good shake. Add ice to the shaker and give a second shake to chill down. Strain into a coupe and garnish with orange peel. Serve and enjoy!
