The best Sloe Gin Negroni cocktail recipe!
Learn how to make the best Sloe Gin Negroni cocktail right here. Mixing sloe gin, dry vermouth and Campari, it is a dreamy sloe gin cocktail recipe that’s perfect for autumn, winter and beyond.
The traditional, classic Negroni recipe is made with equal parts Campari, sweet vermouth (often referred to as red vermouth) and London Dry Gin. For this recipe, we have swapped the London Dry for sloe gin and have swapped the sweet vermouth for dry vermouth.
As sloe gin is actually a gin liqueur, it adds its own sweet, fruity elements. It is for this reason that we have changed the sweet vermouth for the dry vermouth - it allows the cocktail to maintain its iconic balance of bitter and sweet. Delicious!

Which brands of sloe gin are the best to use for this cocktail recipe?
Our first choice for this cocktail recipe is Anno Sloe Gin. Crafted on the Kent coast by macerating sloe berries in Anno Distillery’s multi-award-winning London Dry Gin, it is brimming with rich, smooth fruity, floral and nutty notes that are superb partners to the bitter citrus and crisp herb notes of Campari and Londinio Dry Vermouth. Another fantastic sloe gin for this cocktail recipe is Elephant Sloe Gin.
