One look at the Aldi, Sainsbury’s or Tesco pink gin shelves will show you that the pink gin boom has exploded in the last few years.
And, with even the big players getting involved with the likes of Gordon’s Pink Gin and Beefeater Pink Gin appearing on supermarket shelves, there are just so many pink gins to choose from that it can be tricky to know which ones are worth buying.
But fear not! The experienced experts at Craft Gin Club have done the hard work for you. (Well, we say hard work… it is pretty dreamy, as research goes.)

The Isle of Wight Distillery’s Mermaid Pink Gin is a hugely popular member of the pink gin family and for good reason.
Its strawberry-forward flavour profile, which comes from the Isle of Wight strawberries used as botanicals in this gin, is just as beautiful as its Mermaid tail-inspired bottle design.
Inviting strawberry flavours lead on the nose backed up by touches of citrus and juniper. On the palate, they are combined with complex spices. The finish is a moreish mix of sweet and savoury flavours that are a joy to sip.
We have tried Mermaid Pink Gin with ginger ale and tonic and we have loved both serves. Whichever serve is your preference, we recommend garnishing with fresh strawberries and mint or fresh lime.
Pink grapefruit is a flavour synonymous with pink gin, and one of the best expressions of this flavour profile can be found in Downpour Pink Grapefruit Gin from North Uist Distillery Co. in the Outer Hebrides.
In a stunning pink glass bottle, the North Uist Distillery has managed to capture the brilliant sweet-tart flavours of pink grapefruit in all its glory.
This craft gin is citrusy throughout, with bright citrus tones and juniper coming through on the nose and deep, complex grapefruit notes taking the lead on the palate. The finish is long and elegant.
We think this marvellous craft gin is best served simply with a premium tonic of your choice and a garnish of fresh sliced pink grapefruit.
The now-world-renowned Tarquin’s Cornish Gin distillery blew us away with this taste-bud-tingling limited-edition pink gin.
Not only is its zesty flavour profile amazingly bright and sunny, but its pink wax-sealed bottle is drop-dead gorgeous too. It’s the perfect Valentine’s Day gin gift for your loved ones.
Fragrant citrus and warm pepper flavours come together in this creative pink gin. On the nose, pink grapefruit and spice notes play, while on the palate you can find even deeper citrus tones and that tongue-tingly hum of pepper which lasts long into the finish.
We’ve tested a couple of ways to serve Tarquin’s Pink Lemon, Grapefruit & Peppercorn Gin here at Craft Gin Club HQ and we’ve found that woody herb flavours work so well with this gin.

The Salcombe Distilling Co., based on the Cornish coast, has turned its chic distillery toward pink gin with Salcombe Gin Rosé Sainte Marie.
This “rosé” gin has been inspired by the rosé wines of Provence, France, and is just as sophisticated. Crisp, fragrant and refreshing, it’s a delight to sip in the sun at any time of year.
A gorgeous medley of Provence herbs, citrus and strawberry tones grace the nose and palate of this sumptuous tipple. The finish is long and inviting, with a soft sweetness.
This brilliant edition doesn’t need much embellishment, we recommend finding a light premium tonic and garnishing the serve with slices of fresh strawberry and lemon peel for a fantastic rosé gin and tonic experience.
For the adventurous, there is Altitude Alpine Strawberry Pink Gin! Inspired by the luxurious French ski resort of Chamonix, it boasts alpine botanicals like myrtle, pine and sweet alpine strawberries.
All perfectly balanced, this gin is utterly scrumptious!
On the nose, expect fragrant strawberry and juniper tones which are then complemented by subtle herb, pine and floral notes on the palate and they all last long into the finish.
We have tried this versatile pink gin in a number of different cocktails - it works great in a Floradora - and simple serves. We recommend starting by mixing the gin with a premium tonic, garnishing with fresh strawberry and mint then experimenting from there.

SIXTOWNS Pink Gin is more than a pretty pink ceramic bottle, although it could easily make this list just for that. It's full of British summer fruit and berry flavours like rhubarb, strawberry and raspberry and is perfectly balanced with that rich, earthy juniper.

This is the newest and almost certainly the rarest pink gin to be distilled on this list, but when we first tried it, we just knew it had to be included.
Made using rose botanicals to represent and celebrate joy and compassion by Batch Distillery, it’s the perfect Valentine’s Day pink gin.
This pink gin is led by floral notes on the nose and they are joined by rich juniper and fruity tones of quince, apple and strawberry on the palate. The finish is long and delicious.
Two of our favourite ways to enjoy Batch Roses Are Red Gin are in a pink G&T with Artisan Pink Citrus Tonic, garnished with pink grapefruit, and in Craft Gin Club’s Cupid’s Kiss Valentine’s Day cocktail.

It’s hard to say “craft gin” without thinking about Warner’s Distillery. Now a household name, their gins can be found in bars and pubs across the UK.
Their iconic pink Rhubarb Gin has been popular from the start and the gin world’s love for it only seems to grow. Its nostalgic, sweet-tart rhubarb flavours, which were inspired by the rhubarb grown in Queen Victoria’s garden, are simply divine!
The nose is an inviting mix of sweet rhubarb and rich juniper flavours that develop on the palate, which brings out a tart side to the rhubarb profile along with touches of spice and orange citrus.
The finish is long-lasting and fragrant.
We love the combination of rhubarb and ginger here at the club, so we recommend serving Warner’s Rhubarb Gin with ginger ale and a slice of orange, to garnish.
However, if ginger ale isn’t for you, this gin also works fantastic with a premium Mediterranean tonic.
Cuckoo Solace Gin from Brindle Distillery was Craft Gin Club’s May 2021 Gin of the Month and it’s one of the most loved gins we have sent to members so far. It’s therefore no wonder Brindle’s Cuckoo Supernova Gin is so popular too.

This punchy gin is great for using in pink gin cocktails like a Clover Club (we think those chocolate aromas are a great match for the raspberry tones of a Clover Club).
If you are looking for a simple pink gin and tonic, mix Anno B3rry Pink Gin with a premium tonic and garnish with fresh berries and orange slices.
This exciting craft pink gin comes from Brass Lion Distillery in Singapore and takes inspiration from the original “pink gin” - a gin drink flavoured with bitters, which gave the drink a pink tinge.
Here, the masterful distillers at Brass Lion have taken their signature Singapore Dry Gin and have added bitters to give a spicy and fruity pink gin that you will not be able to put down.
Fragrant citrus and spice tones characterise the inviting nose. Juniper, orange and cinnamon then come through on the rich, deep, complex palate. On the finish, you can find luscious red date and zesty ginger notes, both of which are delectably moreish.

Pink gin emerged as a cocktail that mixed gin with bitters. The bitters would turn the gin pink, so the serve became known as "Pink Gin".
Today, the term "pink gin" refers to any gin that is pink in colour, although it is not an officially recognised category like London Dry - there are certain criteria that need to be met for something to be labelled "London Dry".
There are very few rules around what may or may not be categorized as a pink gin.
Pink gins are most associated with sweet, fruity flavour profiles, as it is usually a red fruit or berry ingredient that imbues the liquid with its pink colour.
Some of the most common and popular pink gin flavours are rhubarb, strawberry and pink grapefruit. However, not all pink gins are sweet and fruit, as you can see from the list above.
Brass Lion Pahit Pink Gin, for instance, has a spiced edge to its flavour profile and Salcombe Gin Rosé Sainte Marie has a herbaceousness and a crispness which makes it closer to rosé wine in flavour than it is to other sweeter pink gins.
