If you like a Mojito on as sunny evening as much as we do then you will just adore this stunning Double Lime & Mint Mojito recipe - we’ve amplified those mouth-watering lime and mint flavours with a beautiful new ingredient that you do not want to miss…
That’s right, we’ve done something new for this little twist on a classic Mojito, which is usually made with rum, sugar, soda water, lime and mint. We have swapped the normal soda water for DASH Soda Water Limes & Garden Mint! (Craft Gin Club sent this amazing soda water to Clubbers in their September 2022 Gin of the Month box - it’s just as delicious paired with gin as it is rum!)
Made with “wonky” fruit that would otherwise be discarded by the big supermarkets, DASH Soda Water Limes & Garden Mint is bursting with authentic mint and lime flavours that work oh-so-well with the rich, caramel-y, spiced rum in this cocktail recipe, accentuating the lime and mint flavours that are already present from the fresh ingredients.
The dash of Angostura Bitters then adds extra complexity, while the sugar balances out the citrus tones wonderfully. This is one rum cocktail, you do not want to miss…
50ml spiced rum
1 tsp granulated sugar
2 fresh lime slices, with extra to garnish
5 fresh mint leaves, with extra to garnish
1 dash of Angostura Bitters
DASH Soda Water Limes & Garden Mint, to top
Add the rum, sugar, lime and mint leaves to the bottom of your glass and muddle well. Add ice and top up with DASH Soda Water. Stir, add a drop of Angostura Bitters, garnish and enjoy!
