Christmas desserts that you can freeze:
Of the easiest Christmas desserts and bakes that you can freeze is the humble mince pie.
For the best results, we recommend shaping and filling your mince pies to the point in the recipe that you would usually put them in the oven to bake but put them in the freezer instead.
That way, all you have to do is pull out the frozen uncooked pies and bake them whenever you have guests inbound.
Christmas pudding also freezes really well and so does Christmas cake.
If you are going to freeze your Christmas cake then we recommend freezing without the marzipan or icing. When you want to use your frozen Christmas cake, simply leave it to defrost overnight.
Only cover a defrosted Christmas cake with marzipan and icing once the cake has come to room temperature. Otherwise, you may get condensation on the cake.
