The fruity ingredients are a win-win, as yummy fresh raspberries and strawberries are in season during British summertime and make the perfect pairing with the rich juniper of the gin. Combine the light, floral notes in the elderflower syrup with zingy apple juice and this summer cocktail is sure to take your garden party to the next level. 1 strawberry, hulled
3 raspberries (plus extra to garnish)
50ml gin
15ml elderflower syrup
15ml lime juice
45ml apple juice
50ml soda water
Fresh mint, to garnish
Add the strawberry and three raspberries to a shaker and gently muddle them. Add gin, elderflower syrup, lime juice, apple juice and ice and shake well. Strain into a highball glass over ice and top with soda. Garnish and serve. Cheers!
